I have been so inspired by all of the amazing mood boards that I have seen in Week 1, that I decided to make one too! I really enjoyed putting this together. I will now be making mood boards every little chance I get.
Everything I’m using to put this room together has been acquired over the past decade, with the exception of the ceiling fan and the desk chair that will be purchased locally from stores in Saskatoon.
Well the first week didn’t go quite as planned due to sick kids, some progress has been made.
I was inspired by an Instagram account that I follow and admire to sign up for the Spring 2022 ORC, and further inspired by the ORC website to post update in blog form!
A little bit about our house, its 100 years old. We moved in about 6 years ago but didn’t actually own it for the first couple years. Now that it is ours, we have been gradually making it our own. Mostly with necessary repairs as it wasn’t fully maintained for the last decade before we got here.
The moral to this story is make it easy for everyone and you will spend less time picking up after everyone and more time enjoying the little things that make your house a home.
